An ecommerce About page should help customers trust the business before they buy. It does not need to be long, but it should explain who is behind the store, why the product range exists, and how customers are supported.
What to include
- Business identity, location, founder or team context, and contact path.
- Why the products are selected, made, sourced, or recommended.
- Proof points such as reviews, experience, media, certifications, guarantees, or community involvement.
- Shipping, returns, support, and service promises where they help customers feel safe.
Keep the page specific. Generic brand language is less useful than clear facts customers can verify.
